A 75-minute trip with SANCTUARY TOURS starts at the car park at the LWL Industrial Museum Henrichshütte, anchor point of the Industrial Culture Route and location of the oldest, still preserved blast furnace in the area. Here you will receive a safety briefing with the Segway. Equipped with a helmet, safety vest/rain gear and audio receiver, you will then set off in the direction of the old town with its 150 listed half-timbered houses. Discover the Bügeleisenhaus (Iron House), the "Malerwinkel" (Painters' Corner) with the leaning tower of St. George's Church and the Old Town Hall from 1576, which houses the Municipal Gallery. On the way back to the car park at the Henrichshütte, drive through the Henrichspark, which as a leisure and recreation park stands for the structural change of the region.

A second tour starts with VIPOTT at the Birschel Mill. The listed house at the Hattingen lock is a popular destination. The Hattingen lock was built in 1772 and still gives a sense of times gone by on the banks of the Ruhr. At the Birschel Mühle, you will receive instruction and a safety explanation. Then the exciting Segway ride along the Ruhr and through the industrial culture of the Henrichshütte begins, peppered with some exciting highlights. With this offer, the Segway ride, the duration of which you can choose, is embedded in an event by arrangement, for example a sporty teambuilding or a boat trip. To top it off, you can enjoy a barbecue buffet with accompanying drinks.
