With its cooperation partners Hattingen Marketing offers you two different versions of this leisure activity.

A 75-minute trip with SANCTUARY TOURS starts at the car park at the LWL Industrial Museum Henrichshütte, anchor point of the Industrial Culture Route and location of the oldest, still preserved blast furnace in the area. Here you will receive a safety briefing with the Segway. Equipped with a helmet, safety vest/rain gear and audio receiver, you will then set off in the direction of the old town with its 150 listed half-timbered houses. Discover the Bügeleisenhaus (Iron House), the "Malerwinkel" (Painters' Corner) with the leaning tower of St. George's Church and the Old Town Hall from 1576, which houses the Municipal Gallery. On the way back to the car park at the Henrichshütte, drive through the Henrichspark, which as a leisure and recreation park stands for the structural change of the region.

A second tour starts with VIPOTT an der Birschel Mühle. Das unter Denkmalschutz stehende Haus an der Hattinger Schleuse ist ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel. 1772 wurde die Hattinger Schleuse gebaut und vermittelt bis heute an den Ufern der Ruhr einen Hauch vergangener Zeiten. An der Birschel Mühle bekommen Sie die Einweisung und Sicherheitserklärung. Dann beginnt die spannende Segway-Fahrt an der Ruhr entlang und durch die Industriekultur der Henrichshütte, gespickt mit einigen aufregenden Highlights. Bei diesem Angebot ist die Segway-Fahrt, deren Dauer Sie wählen können, eingebettet in ein Event nach Absprache, zum Beispiel ein sportliches Teambuilding oder eine Bootsfahrt.
